Recognising the incredible achievements of women across the UK and around the world, Linklaters was proud to sponsor the Women of the Year Awards 2023 today for the second year running.

The awards ceremony welcomed 450 “Women of the Year” who are doing remarkable work and making a difference in paving the way for the women of tomorrow.

Aedamar Comiskey, Linklaters’ Senior Partner and Chair, had the honour of presenting Linklaters’ Female Founder of the Year Award to Samantha Payne MBE, Founder and COO of Open Bionics, a healthcare company delivering revolutionary, affordable bionic hands that look, and feel good, for amputees or those born without a hand. The business has won multiple awards for innovation, including being named one of the top 50 robotics businesses in the world alongside Google and Amazon.
