Overview

Ben Bolnick is an associate in Linklaters’ Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations practice in New York where he represents a broad range of clients in complex commercial and civil disputes in federal and state courts. He has represented clients in class action antitrust and market manipulation claims; breach of contract and fiduciary duty claims; products liability cases; and extensive pro bono work. Prior to joining Linklaters, Ben was an associate at a global law firm where he focused on commercial and civil litigation.

Work highlights
  • An agricultural merchant and processor: advising on a US$1.6bn commodities futures class action lawsuit.
  • A U.S. mortgage corporation: advising on a US$75m, precedent-setting dispute over deferred loans in residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS).
  • A Fortune-500 company: advising on a variety of product-liability actions.

Professional experience

During law school, Ben served as a legal extern at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services where he drafted motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment for cases before the HHS Appeals Board and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. He also was an Equal Justice America Fellow at the Unemployment Compensation Unit at Philadelphia Legal Assistance where he co-led a coalition of law students helping over 1,000 people apply for unemployment benefits during the pandemic.
