Overview

Joseph has significant experience advising a variety of financial services firms, including retail and investment banks, investment firms and fintechs, on a variety of contentious and non-contentious issues. Joseph specialises in advising firms in relation to good governance; conduct and culture; compliance with the Senior Managers and Certification Regime; and contentious regulatory issues.

Joseph’s experience includes representing clients in both Financial Conduct Authority and Prudential Regulation Authority investigations, and also includes significant advisory, pre-enforcement and supervisory intervention experience. Joseph has conducted internal investigations and reviews for a variety of clients regarding compliance issues, conduct of business, governance and culture/misconduct.

Joseph is an active member of the Linklaters Sports Group and has assisted on client matters and internal initiatives related to the developing regulatory framework within sport. Joseph co-founded the Linklaters Sports Group.

Education and qualifications

Joseph holds a First Class Undergraduate Degree in History and Politics from the University of Nottingham. Joseph has also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Sports Law with Distinction from De Montfort University.
