Laura Mbo

Laura joined Linklaters’ Capital Markets & Banking as practice in October 2018.

She advises clients, including financial institutions, sponsors, corporates and issuers, on all types of capital markets and banking matters.

Before joining Linklaters, she gained several years of working experience in Luxembourg in Contract and Corporate Law.

Work highlights

• Pools of banks on sovereign bonds issuances by the European Union, notably the world’s largest green bond issuance in October 2021

• Investment company: advising an international private investment company on the financing of acquisition of real estate projects in Portugal

• International banks: advising two international banks on the acquisition bridge term facility for the acquisition of a leading independent provider of flexible workspace platform and services

Laura holds a Master’s degree of Business Jurist from the University of Paris Est-Créteil and a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Graduate Business School (IAE) from Paris Sorbonne. She also attended the Ecole de Formation des Barreaux de la Cour d’Appel de Paris (EFB).

Laura is registered with the Paris Bar and with the list IV of the Luxembourg Bar. She speaks French, English and Lingala
