Max specialises in advising national and international companies and financial investors in the areas of mergers & acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures and restructurings as well as general corporate law.
Work highlights
- Barnes Group Inc.: Advising on the sale of its subsidiaries Associated Spring and Heinz Hänggi in Brazil, Singapore, Switzerland and Thailand to One Equity Partners.
- Morgan Stanley: Advising Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners on the €300m equity raise as part of the €1.1bn debt extension of its portfolio company Tele Columbus AG, one of the leading operators of fibre networks in Germany.

Education and qualifications
Max studied law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and at the University of Miami School of Law. He also completed his doctoral studies at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg after being a Visiting Graduate Researcher at UC Los Angeles School of Law.
He completed his legal traineeship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court. During his legal traineeship, Max already worked for Linklaters in Hamburg and Milan.
He speaks German and English.
