Overview

Jason is an investment funds counsel in Linklaters' New York office. He focuses his practice on the representation of fund sponsors, asset managers and institutional investors regarding the formation, structuring, negotiation and governance of private investment funds. Jason advises clients in all stages of private equity funds, real estate funds and joint ventures, credit funds, venture capital funds, secondaries funds, co-investment funds, energy and infrastructure funds, funds of funds, hedge funds and other alternative asset classes, both domestically and internationally.

Jason also advises clients on their secondary market transactions, including traditional portfolio sales, structured secondaries, stapled secondary offerings and other complex secondary transactions.

Jason has represented a diverse group of fund sponsors, asset managers and institutional investors, including, among others, AIG Asset Management, DRA Advisors, DuPont Capital Management, GE Asset Management (now State Street Global Advisors), Harbert Management Corporation, Hemisfério Sul Investimentos and Ram Realty Advisors.

Education and qualifications

Jason earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where he was a member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal, and his B.S. from the University at Albany.
