Linklaters receives ‘Excelling’ accreditation from City Mental Health Alliance

For the third year running Linklaters has been awarded the ‘Excelling’ accreditation in the City Mental Health Alliance UK’s (‘CMHA UK’) Thriving at Work assessment – recognising best practice in developing workplace mental health and wellbeing strategies.

The CMHA UK launched its Thriving at Work assessment in 2020, with the aim of helping organisations to measure and benchmark progress on building and sustaining mentally healthy workplaces. It is set against the evidence-based standards in the CMHA Thriving at Work Guide, a framework to help businesses develop their mental health and wellbeing strategies. This year, the Assessment was updated to include measurements related to how businesses were adapting to different ways of working and driving best practice.

Jenny Lloyd, Diversity and Wellbeing Manager at Linklaters, comments:

“We are delighted to have excelled in the City Mental Health Alliance’s assessment again this year. As a founding member of the City Mental Health Alliance, we continue to work closely to help break down the stigma and fear associated with discussing mental health in the workplace – making sure that mental health is treated on a par with physical health.”

Alison Unsted, CEO of the City Mental Health Alliance UK, says:

“Receiving the ‘Excelling’ accreditation in the CMHA Thriving at Work assessment is a fantastic achievement. Companies which are ‘Excelling’ are leading and innovating with new ideas and ways of thinking when it comes to integrating best practice approaches.”
