Alyssia joined Linklaters’ Employment practice in 2022, and she has been promoted Managing Associate in May 2024.

Alyssia advises national and international companies on a wide range of transactions/issues in employment such as redundancies, social plans, restructurings, relocations, TUPE, HR audits, incentive schemes, global employment contracts, collective bargaining agreements, remuneration policies, internal policies, disciplinary measures, day-to-day assistance to HR, and on all questions relating to social security and immigration.

She also represents employers before the courts in the event of litigation.

  • A multinational financial services company: advising on the acquisition of digital insurance companies, including legal due diligence and identifying material employment law issues at the target companies.
  • A holding company invested in fund and distribution services: advising on due diligence, analysing documents from an employment and social security perspective, and drafting a report on material issues.
  • Waystone: advising on the acquisition of BIL Manage Invest, a Luxembourg based management company, from Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL). Our employment team led due diligence process and played a central role in negotiating the employment and pension provisions of the share purchase agreement, focusing on complex employment and pension law issues. The transaction demanded robust negotiation skills and prompt problem-solving to meet tight deadlines.
  • A fund management company: advising on employment implications of selling a Munich-based real estate fund manager group, including employee movements in Luxembourg and France, destination options, transfer methods, and information and consultation requirements.
  • A Belgium-based financial services company: advising on the significant restructuring of a leading global digital fund distribution platform operating across multiple countries, including EU and non-EU jurisdictions. Guidance focused on employment-related aspects amid evolving restructuring options and adherence to a pre-established social plan.
  • A specialised fixed income investment manager: advising on remuneration policy, implementing a remuneration committee, and the payout process, including deferral of payments, payment in instruments, and clawback provisions.

Education and qualifications

Alyssa holds a LL.M. in German Law from the University of Heidelberg and a Master’s Degree I and II in Social Security from the University of Montpellier.

Prior to joining Linklaters, Alyssia has gained valuable professional experience in law firms in Luxembourg and in a group of Luxembourg companies.

She is fluent in French and English.
