Overview
Ida Jacotey joined Linklaters Luxembourg in 2016 after having gained experience at law firms in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Her practice focuses on general company law, private equity, group restructuring and both domestic and cross-border M&A.
Experience highlights:
- Hg on its acquisition of a significant stake in Combell and the roll-up acquisitions by Combell of TransIP and Register.
- Hg on the €1.359bn recapitalisation and refinancing of team.blue, a European provider of digital presence and enablement tools, such as domains, mass hosting, email and applications including e-commerce.
- Montagu on its investment in Visma AS, a Norwegian business software company, made alongside a consortium of investors for a value of US$ 5.3bn.
Education and qualifications
She holds a Master degree from the University of Paris Pantheon-Assas & University of Economics and Law of HCMC, French-Vietnamese Master’s Degree in International Business law (Vietnam) as well as a LL.M. from the New York University (NYU).
She is fluent in English and French.
She was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2018.
