Overview
Jihane is an associate in the antitrust and foreign investment group in Brussels.
She advises on all aspects of EU and French competition law, including merger control, FDI screening, abuse of dominance, antitrust behavioural issues and state aid. She also advises clients on navigating foreign direct investment filings at international level.
Jihane’s expertise is particularly focused on matters related to the Foreign Subsidies Regulation. She has advised and assisted several clients on FSR notifications (both under the M&A and public procurement tools), as well as on developing a tailored FSR methodology and setting up internal processes for information gathering.

Professional experience
Jihane has been an associate in the antitrust and foreign investment practice since 2022. Before joining Linklaters, Jihane interned at several major law firms as well as the in-house competition departments of BNP Paribas and Group Randstad in Paris.
Education and qualifications
Jihane holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Maastricht. She also holds a Masters in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe.
Jihane speaks French and English.
