Julius specializes in corporate and group law advice, in particular for large listed companies, capital markets law and corporate governance issues, as well as corporate restructurings and corporate litigation.

Listed in Handelsblatt as “Lawyer of the Future” in 2022 and 2023 in Corporate Law and for Mergers & Acquisitions.

  • Volkswagen AG: continuously advising on matters of stock corporation law (including all shareholders’ meetings since 2016) and capital markets law issues and defending the company in several complex litigious matters and administrative proceedings
  • Volkswagen AG and Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG: advising on Porsche’s IPO and the sale of a minority stake in Porsche to the Porsche Automobil Holding SE
  • Volkswagen AG: advising on various complex litigation and administrative proceedings, including its successful constitutional complaints before the Federal Constitutional Court (Bundesverfassungsgericht)
  • LEONI AG: advising LEONI’s Supervisory Board on ongoing corporate law issues

Professional experience

 Julius joined Linklaters in 2013 and was appointed Counsel in 2023.

Education and qualifications

Julius studied law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen, where he also later earned his doctorate. He also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporate and Commercial Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Julius speaks German and English.
