Overview

Pablo advises sponsors, corporates and investment banks on their complex, cross-border equity offerings (IPOs, rights issues, accelerated book-built offers and block trades), convertible and exchangeable bonds offers, debt and hybrid issues and liability management transactions.

Pablo also has experience in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, and banking transactions, such as LBOs, corporate financings and restructurings.

Pablo spent 18 months on secondment to the firm’s New York office, advising on many capital markets’ and M&A transactions, including those involving Latin America.

  • Pablo has advised on many market-leading capital markets deals. These include advising:
  • Ibercaja, the Spanish bank, on its proposed IPO
  • the managers on the IPO of Acciona Energía
  • Unión Acquisition Corp. II, a publicly-traded special purpose acquisition company, on its business combination with Procaps, one of the world leaders in the health and pharmaceutical technology sector, based in Latin America
  • the managers on several rights issues by Cellnex Telecom, a Spanish wireless telecommunications infrastructure and services company
  • the managers on the issue by Cellnex of €1.5bn senior unsecured convertible bonds
  • J.P. Morgan, Citigroup and Crédit Agricole on the issue of €750m convertible bonds and a simultaneous capital increase of approximately €750m carried out by Amadeus IT Group
  • Deoleo, the Spanish multinational olive oil processing company on its rights issue and on the restructuring of its financial debt
  • Key Capital Impact on the establishment of the infrastructure fund and further capital raisings and M&As

Education and qualifications

Pablo studied law and business administration at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas, Madrid.

He speaks Spanish and English.
