Linklaters advises on the US$2.2bn Sukuk issuance by The Republic of Indonesia

Linklaters advised the joint lead managers on the issuance of US$2.2bn trust certificates by The Republic of Indonesia. The offering comprises US$1.1bn 5-year trust certificates and US$1.1bn 10-year green trust certificates. The certificates are listed on both the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited and Nasdaq Dubai.

The transaction attracted strong demand and saw participation from a broad spectrum of investors including asset and fund managers, financial institutions, central banks, sovereign wealth funds, and insurers – as well as jurisdictions, highlighting robust global appetite and signalling continued market confidence in Indonesia’s economic outlook.
