Overview

Arian is specialized on advising and structuring of equity capital markets (ECM) and cross-border Public and Private M&A transactions for companies, banks and financial investors, with a particular focus on stock corporation, group, transformation and public takeover law, as well as governance issues of listed and non-listed companies.

  • Volkswagen AG: advising on the IPO of Porsche AG on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange
  • Private Equity Company: advising on the dual track procedure (IPO and M&A) and pre-deal reorganisation of a portfolio company
  • Daimler AG: advising on the Spin-off IPO and pre-deal reorganisation of the Daimler Truck Group on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange
  • New Work SE (formerly: XING SE): advising on its cross-border intra-group corporate reorganization (*)
  • SYNLAB and its shareholders Cinven, Novo and OTPP: advising on the pre-deal reorganisation and the IPO of SYNLAB AG on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (*)
  • Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund (Mubadala Investment): advising on the acquisition of a stake in Evotec SE in the context of a PIPE transaction (*)

Professional experience

Arian joined Linklaters as a lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) in Corporate/M&A in 2021 and was appointed Managing Associate in 2022.

Previously, he has worked as a lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) in Corporate/M&A at other renowned international commercial law firms in Berlin, Frankfurt and Hamburg since 2018.

He is, inter alia, a member of the VGR (Scientific Association for Corporate and Business Law; “wissenschaftliche Vereinigung für Unternehmens- und Gesellschaftsrecht”).

Education and qualifications

Arian studied law at the Philipps University of Marburg as well as at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Greece) and received his doctorate and a master's degree (LL.M. Eur.) in European and International Business Law from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University of Frankfurt.

He speaks German, English and Persian (Farsi).
