Overview
Astrid is a junior associate who joined Linklaters in 2020 as part of the Real Estate Practice Group in Brussels. She has experience in real estate law, administrative law and business law in general. She is involved in a range of projects and real estate transactions and advises both Belgian and international clients.
Work highlights
Astrid has advised on a wide range of real estate transactions. These include advising:
- CBRE on the conclusion of a joint venture and the subsequent acquisition of logistic buildings in Belgium, Luxembourg, Sweden and Denmark.
- Cofinimmo on the acquisition of 5 retirement homes via a contribution for shares.
- Gimv and the minority shareholders on the auction sale of Incendin.
- CBRE and PEC Holdings on the acquisition of the concession rights to the Ghent Logistic Campus.
- CBRE on the delivery of Eutraco and POST NL buildings.
- CBRE and PEC Holdings on the divestment of a company owning the Aartselaar Logistics complex.
Education and qualifications
Astrid obtained her law degree from the KU Leuven, Belgium, and the Ludwig Maximilians Universität in Munich within the framework of an Erasmus programme. She holds a Masters degree in Notary Law from KU Leuven and an LL.M. degree from UC Berkeley, California.
Astrid speaks Dutch, English, French and German.
