Eriko advises Japanese and international companies on their complex international commercial and regulatory issues. She has a broad practice, including international arbitration and litigation relating to contractual or other commercial disputes as well as investigations relating to financial and non-financial misconduct. Eriko also frequently advises clients in relation to compliance and governance matters, crisis management and employment issues. She has advised clients across a wide range of sectors, including financial institutions, construction, technology, healthcare, consumer and mobility.

Eriko is also part of the firm’s regional ESG group, and assists clients in Asia understand the rapidly evolving global ESG landscape.

Eriko is qualified in New South Wales, Australia, and is a registered foreign lawyer (gaikokuho jimu bengoshi) in Japan.

Education and qualifications

Eriko has a combined Arts (Classical Studies) and Law degree from the University of Sydney.
