Overview

Lisa is a Managing Associate based in the firm’s London office. She advises clients across a broad range of sectors on complex cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations.

Prior to joining Linklaters, Lisa was a senior associate at Allens in Sydney, Australia. 

Work highlights

  • Advising on the proposed sale of The Telegraph newspaper and The Spectator magazine
  • AXA: Advising on its €650 million acquisition of Laya Healthcare from Corebridge Financial, a subsidiary of AIG
  • EY Global: advising on the proposed separation of its global audit and consulting businesses 
  • Caesars Entertainment: advising on its £2.2 billion sale of William Hill’s non-US businesses to 888 Holdings
  • Unilever PLC: advising on the carve-out and €4.5bn sale to CVC Capital Partners of its tea business, consisting of a portfolio of 34 leading brands (including PG Tips, Pukka, T2 and TAZO), 11 factories and three tea estates in Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania
  • State of New South Wales: advising on the A$11.1 billion sale of its remaining 49% stake in the WestConnex motorway to a consortium of investors including Transurban, AustralianSuper and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.
  • Brambles Limited: 
    • advising on its dual-track separation process and US$2.5 billion sale of the IFCO reusable plastic containers business to Triton and Luxinva (a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority).
    • advising on its US$52.2 million sale of the Kegstar keg rental business to MicroStar.
  • Magellan Global Fund: advising on its acquisitions of the Magellan Global Trust and Magellan Global Equities Fund by separate trust schemes and subsequent listing of the consolidated A$15bn fund on the Australian Securities Exchange

Education and qualifications

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney, Australia. As part of her Bachelor of Laws degree, she undertook a semester abroad at Cornell University.
