Overview
Tiago joined Linklaters Luxembourg in 2015 and was promoted to Managing Associate in 2021.
Tiago advises banks, borrowers and sponsors across a wide range of loan arrangements, debt issuances and regulatory matters, with a particular focus on real estate finance, fund financing, margin lending, acquisition finance, restructuring and insolvency and debt issuances as well as regulatory aspects (e.g. prospectus, transparency, market abuse, blockchain and other DLT related matters).
In 2018, Tiago spent six months on secondment to a leading Swiss private banking institution.
Education and qualifications
Tiago holds an LL.M in International Financial Law from the King’s College London and an LL.M in European Banking and Financial Law from the University of Luxembourg as well as a Master’s degree in European Law from the same university.
Tiago speaks French, Luxembourgish, English, German and Portuguese.
