Rule changes seek to attract more companies to list in the UK

With effect from 3 December 2021, changes are being made to the London listing regime to encourage more companies to list at an earlier stage. The free float requirement is reduced to 10% and directors will be able to maintain some protection against takeovers in the 5 years after listing. These changes will allow companies to list while allowing founders to retain a greater element of control.
