Cross-border Restructurings - What’s new for German companies?

The EU Directive on Cross-border Conversions, Mergers and Divisions was implemented into German law with effect as of 1 March 2023. New regulations on cross-border divisions and transfers of registered offices to other EU member states were introduced for the first time and considerably enhance the possibilities for cross-border restructurings within the EU.
