Linklaters supports Charter for Black Talent in Finance and the Professions

Linklaters is a proud signatory of the Charter for Black Talent in Finance and the Professions.

Established by Harry Matovu QC, the Charter has the fundamental objective to promote equality of opportunity for Black talent in finance and the professions and bring about meaningful change. Signatory firms and supporters commit to maintaining an environment supporting the recruitment of Black talent and development and progression into senior roles, underpinned by clear action plans and ambitious targets.

In 2020, Linklaters announced its Race Action Plan pledging to improve representation of Black and underrepresented minority ethnic lawyers and business team members across the firm. The Race Action Plan outlines how Linklaters will accomplish this throughout the career path, from school-age to leadership positions, and the concrete actions the firm will take, aligned to aspirational targets.
