Dominik Wegener

Dominik advises national and international corporates and financial investors on all corporate law matters. He is particularly experienced in advising clients on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and joint ventures. Furthermore, Dominik regularly advises on venture capital transactions.

In its 2021 Best Lawyers Ranking, German Handelsblatt lists Dominik as “One to Watch” in the category Mergers and Acquisitions Law.

• Körber: in connection with the disposal of the Group´s Business Area Tissue to the Finnish company Valmet
• GM Cruise Holdings LLC: advising on the sale of Astyx GmbH, a leading manufacturer of radar systems for autonomous driving from ZF Friedrichshafen AG and the funding shareholders.*
• EQT Ventures: regularly advised EQT Ventures in connection with various venture capital investments in Germany.*
• Ping An Global Voyager Fund: advising Ping An Global Voyager Fund in connection with its Series C Investment in Berlin based MedTech Company PlusDental GmbH.*

Dominik studied law at Freie Universität of Berlin. During his legal clerkship Dominik worked for international law firms in Berlin and San Francisco and the stock exchange supervisory authority of the state of Berlin.
