Overview
Fanny is a managing associate in the banking department of the Paris office. She advises on a wide range of financing transactions, including bridge financings, leveraged acquisition financings and public acquisition financings, as well as restructurings, investment grade syndicated facilities and bilateral loans. She advises lenders, sponsors, and other participants on the structuring and implementation of complex domestic and cross-border financings (both bank and bond financings) across various sectors in France and Europe. Fanny is regularly involved in syndicated financings and debt restructurings. She also has experience coordinating transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
Work highlights
Recent transactions include advising:
- CGG on the refinancing of its indebtedness.
- HSBC Continental Europe, Société Générale, BNP Paribas, and Citi as coordinators, and the other arrangers in relation to the financings put in place during the spin-off of Sodexo to Pluxee.
- BNPP, Natixis and Société Générale as coordinators, and the other arrangers, in connection with a syndicated loan with a maximum principal amount of €775,000,000 (leveraged financing) to enable a sponsor to acquire a group of companies and to carry out reclassifications of holdings owned by management, as well as subsequent amendments, notably to include Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) criteria.
- Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank as credit agent for a multi-currency revolving credit facility in connection with the safeguard proceedings of the Casino group during the 2023/2024 period.
- Teleperformance SE on (i) the financing of Teleperformance’s public offer for Majorel, (ii) the financing of the acquisition of the Intelenet group, (iii) the financing of the acquisition of Language Line Services Limited and Language Line Solutions LLC, and (iv) the establishment of their sustainability-linked revolving credit facilities.
- Standard Chartered as documentation agent and the arrangers in relation to the establishment of a USD 3 billion sustainability-linked revolving credit facility for the Schlumberger group.
- Various corporate borrowers in connection with small-cap or mid-cap market financings as leveraged or bridge financings to enable the entry of new investors or to meet the general needs of a developing group of companies.
Professional experience
Linklaters was the first law firm where Fanny worked as an associate, and prior to that, Fanny had the opportunity to complete numerous internships in the Banking & Finance teams of several other major international law firms in Paris.
Education and qualifications
Fanny holds a master’s degree in business law, a Magistère Juriste d’Affaires and a DJCE (Diplôme de Juriste Conseil d’Entreprise) from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas.
