Genna advises financial sponsors and their investee companies on a full range of transactions including cross-border leveraged M&A, bolt-on acquisitions, carve-outs, co-investments, minority deals, full and partial disposals, restructurings and general portfolio company issues.

Genna has been recognised in the Lawyer’s 2023 Hot 100 and as a Private Equity “Rising Star” by Law.com.  

Genna joined the firm in 2023 and was previously a partner at a leading UK private equity transactional firm.

  • Bridgepoint and other selling shareholders on the acquisition of Estera and the subsequent sale to Inflexion-backed Ocorian* 
  • Bridgepoint on the sale of Oasis Dental Care to BUPA*

  • Equistone Partners Europe on its investments in each of adm Group; CH & Co (a leading UK contract catering group) and Nylacast (a word-class designer and manufacturer of precision-engineered polymer solutions)

Genna holds a law degree (LL.B.) from the University of Edinburgh and completed an LL.M. at the University of Cambridge.
