Overview

Laetitia has expertise in all areas of intellectual property, with a particular focus on national and pan-European patent, copyright and trademark litigation.

Laetitia also advises her clients in the drafting and negotiation of contracts related to intellectual property, including art work commissioning, assignment of rights and licensing agreements. Laetitia also has extensive experience in contracts related to the gaming industry.

  • Assisting a life science company in seeking patent invalidity in France, and in relation to alleged infringement as part as a cross-border litigation*.
  • Assisting a tech company in infringement proceedings based on standards essential patents.
  • Assisting a French non-profit organization in a matter involving alleged trademarks infringement in interim and on the merits proceedings*.
  • Drafting and negotiating various agreements for video game publishers, including publishing agreements, merchandizing and ambassador agreements*.
  • Assisting an entertainment company with the clearance of its new titles to be broadcasted in France*.

Professional experience

Prior to joining Linklaters, Laetitia worked several years in the intellectual property team of a magic circle law firm in Paris. She also completed several internships in first tier law firms, as well as at WIPO in Geneva.

Laetitia is a member of the LES (Licensing Executive Society) and the APRAM (Association of Trade Mark and Design Law Practitioners). She also volunteers for the Barreau des Arts.

Education and qualifications

Laetitia holds an LL.M from Columbia University (Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar – 2015/2016). She also holds an Intellectual Property Master from the University Paris II Panthéon-Assas.
