Overview

Peter is a partner in the firm’s financial sponsors practice. He regularly advises private equity and financial sponsor clients on a range of private equity transactions, including sell-side processes and divestments, carve-outs, buy-outs, co-investments and consortium deals. He has recently been working on the most complex transactions in the market, offering clients the benefits of the firm’s global reach.

Peter’s recent experience includes advising:

  • I Squared Capital on its exclusive negotiations with Rubis in relation to buying out its JV partner’s stake in Rubis Terminal.
  • Hg alongside new and existing investors on new equity investment in Visma, valuing the business at US$21bn.
  • Hg on its partial sell down in TeamSystem
  • Hg Saturn 3 Fund on its majority investment and recapitalisation of Access Group, valuing it at £9.2bn.
  • Altaris Capital Partners on its acquisition of Johnson Matthey’s Health Business.
  • I Squared Capital on its purchase of GTT’s fibre and data centre infrastructure division for $2.15 billion.
  • DigitalBridge and co-investors on the establishment of a long term incentive plan for the Netomnia management team.
  • Hg’s Genesis 7 Fund, Montagu and the selling investors on the sale of a stake in Visma to a consortium of investors including Hg Saturn 2 Fund, TPG, Warburg Pincus and CPPIB. The transaction valued the business at US$12.2bn.
  • DigitalBridge on the creation of a long term incentive plan for the AtlasEdge management team.
  • DigitalBridge on the establishment of the Vantage Data Centers European hyperscale data centre platform and the acquisition of data centre provider Etix Everywhere.
  • I Squared Capital on its JV with Rubis in relation to Rubis Terminal.
  • I Squared Capital on its acquisition of TIP Trailer Services from HNA and TIP's acquisition of trailer leasing businesses PEMA and Trailer Wizards.
