Linklaters announces the appointment of Jane Caskey as Global Head of Risk Advisory and Head of Clients & Sectors, bolstering the firm’s global risk advisory platform.

Joining the firm as a Partner in London from Norton Rose Fulbright where she was Global Head of Risk Advisory and Chief Client Officer, Jane will establish a new, integrated and multi-disciplinary risk advisory practice at Linklaters with the full range of legal and now risk consulting services across the firm’s global network.

Linklaters offers clients rigorous legal analysis combined with deep experience and cross-border knowledge of the regulatory compliance risks financial institutions and companies face. Alongside this, the new multi-disciplinary practice will help clients to design and implement the governance and operational frameworks and the processes, systems and controls to enable them to embed effective management of legal and compliance risks within their organisations.

Linklaters’ global risk advisory platform is uniquely positioned to support clients in proactively identifying and managing risk exposure in a rapidly evolving global regulatory and geopolitical landscape, including: ESG/sustainability, supply chain and energy transition; digital transformation; financial services, financial crime and sanctions.

Jane has impressive experience of working closely with clients to analyse current and emerging risks relative to their commercial goals and risk appetites – developing an intimate knowledge of clients’ operations. In her role as Head of Clients & Sectors, coupled with her extensive risk advisory experience across a range of legal disciplines, Jane will be well-placed to coordinate tailored, integrated and holistic global solutions, leveraging the full capabilities of the firm across legal and risk consulting expertise to address clients’ compliance and risk-related challenges.

Andy Vickery, Global Head of Finance, commented:

The addition of Jane, alongside the establishment of our central Risk Advisory practice, will greatly enhance our seamless and unique client offering allowing us to assist clients in managing and mitigating their legal and compliance risk from end-to-end.”

Paul Lewis, Firmwide Managing Partner, stated:

“There is demand in the market for an integrated global offering that combines rigorous understanding and analysis of the legal and regulatory landscape with operational solutions to deliver effective management of compliance risks.
