Overview

Andrew regularly acts for bank and fund clients on complex sponsor-backed European leverage finance transactions, including term loan B, bank and bond and unitranche financings. Andrew also has experience in transactions that cross over between leveraged and infrastructure finance and fund finance. His work is also guided by his experience working on distressed situations and restructurings.

Work Highlights

  • MiQ: advising the lenders on the financing for the acquisition of MiQ by Bridgepoint.
  • Ocmis: advising the lenders on the financing for the acquisition of Ocmis by Carlyle.
  • Eolo: advising the mandated lead arrangers on the bank and bond financing for the acquisition of Eolo by Partners Group.
  • Pasubio: advising the mandated lead arrangers on the bank and bond financing for the acquisition of Pasubio by PAI Partners.
  • Paysafe: advising the mandated lead arrangers on the TLB financing for Paysafe.
  • Xceptor: advising the lenders on the financing for the acquisition of Xceptor by Astorg.

Professional experience

Andrew previously led the firm’s Abu Dhabi banking practice and was co-head of the firm’s Abu Dhabi office. He was also previously based in the firm’s New York office.

Andrew regularly speaks at Loan Market Association (LMA) events.

Education and qualifications

Andrew studied law at the University of Leeds and holds a master of laws from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
