Overview

Atish is a Managing Associate in the firm's Banking practice. He has experience advising banks and corporate clients on a range of cross-border and domestic financings, including financial restructurings, with a particular focus on private and public acquisition, crossover credit and general investment grade financings. Atish also has experience of acting on real estate finance and margin lending transactions.

Experience highlights

  • The mandated lead arrangers: advising the mandated lead arrangers on a refinancing for the global French food retailer, the Casino Group. The quasi-restructuring included raising EUR1.8bn of crossover credit financing, by way of a EUR1bn Term Loan B, a EUR800m secured high yield bond and extending a EUR 2bn RCF.
  • The mandated lead arrangers: advising the mandated lead arrangers on a NOK29.5 billion and NOK 6.2 billion bridge facilities agreement to fund the public takeover bid and mandatory offer by Castellum AB of Entra ASA.
  • The mandated lead arrangers: advising the mandated lead arrangers on a £6.7 billion bridge facilities agreement to fund the public takeover bid by a consortium led by Fortress Investment Group of British supermarket chain Morrisons.
  • Brambles: advising Brambles on their debut US$1.35 billion syndicated revolving credit facility.
  • The lenders: advising the lenders on the revolving credit facility for the Ocado Group as part of a £875 million debt and equity raise. 
  • Aristocrat Leisure Limited: advising the Aristocrat Group in relation to their financing arrangements to fund their £2.7 billion public takeover offer of Playtech plc.
  • Caffe Nero: advising Caffe Nero on the refinancing of their senior and mezzanine facilities with a unitranche financing with the term facilities provided by Carlyle and the super senior revolving credit facility provided by HSBC and Santander. 
  • Vistry Group: advising Vistry Group on its financing arrangements supporting its UK public takeover of Countryside Partnerships.
  • Barclays: advising Barclays as the sole underwriter on the financing of Agility's £763 million UK public takeover of John Menzies PLC
