Overview

Eugenie joined the Corporate M&A practice group of Linklaters Luxembourg in 2016 and became Managing Associate in 2022.

Her previous experience includes working as a teaching assistant and researcher at the Belgian University KU Leuven where she obtained a PhD in law.

Eugenie has broad experience in general company law and regularly advices listed companies (including SPACs). Eugenie is skilled in handling complex cross-border restructurings and working on M&A transactions. Her work further spans a broad range of equity capital market transactions, corporate regulatory matters and ESG issues (with a focus on CSRD).

She was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2018 (list I).

Work highlights
  • Montagu Private Equity: advising on the strategic acquisition and integration of Tyber Medical with Intech and Resolve Surgical Technologies, creating a consolidated original equipment manufacturer (OEM) platform in the med-tech sector through a multi-layered merger and incentive structure.
  • Triton Partners: advising on the upstreaming proceeds from the partial divestment of Renk Group by Triton and its management, through a private placement and listing in Frankfurt. We also advised on the distribution of proceeds to Triton Fund V and the winding up of the management incentive plan pooling vehicle.
  • Allianz Direct: advising on its acquisition of Luxembourg iptiQ’s European Property and Casualty business from Swiss Re, involving a Luxembourg risk carrier with branches in six European countries and over 100 employees.
  • A global leader in infrastructure: advising on the strategic reorganisation and partial divestment of a pan-European data centre platform, including the carve-out of 36 stabilised assets across Spain, Italy and France, and the implementation of a long-term management framework to support future operational continuity.
  • A science-driven food technology company: advising on a transformational corporate reorganisation involving a reverse stock split and jurisdictional migration, including coordination of cross-border legal frameworks and regulatory filings.

She holds a PhD in law from the KU Leuven (Belgium) as well as a Master degree in law (LL.M.) from the KU Leuven (Belgium).

She is fluent in Dutch, English, French and Spanish.
