Overview

Laura Nunes Vicente is an Associate in the Linklaters' Finance and Energy & Infrastructure team in the Paris office. She started in the Lisbon office and after a 1-year secondment in the London office she relocated to Paris. Her practice has focused on large scale project development and project finance transactions, particularly in the energy (oil and gas and renewables) and infrastructure sectors in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Laura’s dual qualification, language skills and having worked in multiple offices are an asset to her international project development and finance practice.

Professional experience

Laura started her legal career as a Summer Trainee at the Lisbon and London offices of Linklaters in 2014. After completing her LLM at LSE she joined Linklaters Lisbon in 2016 and qualified as an Associate in the Finance and Energy and Infrastructure team.

In 2022, she did a 1-year secondment in London, during which she became a solicitor of England & Wales. After the secondment, she relocated to the Paris Energy & Infrastructure team.

Education and qualifications

Laura holds a Law Degree of the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra. She then completed a General LLM at the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2016.

She is a Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2018, of the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority since 2022 and she is registered with the Paris Bar Association.

She speaks fluent Portuguese, English and French, as well as some basic Spanish, German and Italian.
