Lynne is a UK corporate tax specialist with emphasis on public and private M&A transactions, reorganisations and reconstructions, capital restructurings, corporate finance, capital markets and real estate finance transactions. Lynne has particular experience in the financial sector.

Work Highlights

Recent experience has included:

  • advising Unilever on the proposed unification of its "dual listed company" structure
  • advising Investec on the proposed demerger and IPO of the Investec asset management business
  • advising Old Mutual Plc on the managed separation of the Old Mutual group, including the demerger of Quilter plc
  • advising RBS on the implementation of ring-fencing
  • advising Goldman Sachs on the sale and leaseback of its new European headquarters building in London
  • advising a number of financial institutions and corporates on Brexit-related matters
  • advising a number of financial institutions and funds in relation to the impact on their business of measures intended to implement the OECD “base erosion and profit shifting” recommendations
