Overview

Ruth has specialised experience in energy law and regularly publishes and lectures on national and European energy regulation. She advises clients mostly on energy regulatory issues, both stand-alone or in relation to M&A transactions, project developments or financings.

Professional experience

Ruth joined Linklaters as an associate in 2012 and was promoted to managing associate in 2016. She started her career in 2008 as a lawyer at an international accounting firm and a German energy law boutique.

Education and qualifications

Ruth studied law at the Universities of Osnabrück, Kingston upon Hull (UK) and Berlin. She also completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in legal theory and comparative law in Brussels. She was a DAAD scholarship holder at the School of Polish Business Law at the Universytet Jagiellonski Kraków (PL) and a DFG scholarship holder of the European Research Training Group "System Transformation and Economic Integration in a Europe Growing Together".

She speaks German and English.
