DC Agenda Autumn 2023

Welcome to our Autumn Edition of DC Agenda

Welcome to our Autumn edition of DC Agenda. As always at this time of year there is a faint “back to school” feel in the air, with the Mansion House proposals discussed in this edition suggesting that trustees will have plenty of work to do in the years ahead.

We’ve also included an article on the FCA’s new consumer duty, which impacts occupational pension scheme trustees only indirectly; but it is always interesting to keep an eye on standards imposed in the FCA-regulated arena as they can influence expectations and norms for occupational pension schemes too.

Finally, we include an article exploring the issues for trustees to think about when considering a transfer to a master trust and members’ retirement journey, particularly drawing out some of the trends and issues we have seen arising in practice and our experience of resolving them.

As always, if you have any comments, or topics you would like us to cover, please do get in touch with me or your usual Linklaters contact
