Overview

Florence joined the Luxembourg Linklaters mainstream corporate practice in 2011 and was seconded to the Linklaters’ Paris office in 2014.

She advises in corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity transactions, with a specific focus on the German market, working closely with the German Linklaters offices.

  • Montagu Private Equity: advising on the acquisition of Waystone Group (including in Luxembourg)
  • think-cell Software GmbH: advised on the EUR 1.58bn sale as well as the re-investment of the founders
  • A major German technology company: advising on the restructuring of €2bn private equity pension assets by way of cross-border merger from Germany to Luxembourg.
  • thyssenkrupp: advising on the reinvestment of thyssenkrupp in the context of the €17.2bn sale of its elevator business to a consortium led by Advent and Cinven.
  • Groupe Bruxelles Lambert (GBL): advising on the acquisition of a majority stake in Canyon Bicycles GmbH (Canyon). 
  • A Korean private equity firm: advising on the acquisition of a producer of a sole copper foil manufacturer with operations in Europe (including in Luxembourg).

Education and qualifications

Florence studied in Germany, France and the US and holds an LL.M. degree from Cornell Law School and a Master I and Master II degree from the University of Paris X.

She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2010, the Paris Bar in 2011 and the Luxembourg Bar in 2012 (liste IV du Tableau de l'Ordre).
