Dr. Mareike Weidemann

Mareike specialises in banking supervisory and banking law, in particular financing and investment law. She is working as Managing Knowledge Lawyer for our German Finance Practice and focuses on Client Knowledge & Learning.

Mareike is part of our global ESG initiative.

Mareike has been a lawyer since 2002. She joined Linklaters in 2011 and was appointed Managing Knowledge Lawyer in 2016. In 2010, she lived and worked in New York (USA) for a year.

Mareike studied law and political science at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and the University of Fribourg(Switzerland). She received her doctorate from the Albert Ludwig University of Fribourg in 2010.

She speaks German and English and basic French.
