Overview

Nazli joined Linklaters capital markets and banking practice in June 2017.

Nazli has several years of experience gained in Turkey, France and Luxembourg working in major national and international law firms.

She also has experience working as a lawyer at the European Investment Bank, in Luxembourg. She advises clients, including banks, sponsors, corporates, issuers and alternative credit providers, on all types of loan structures (including fund finance, acquisition finance & leveraged finance), debt issuances (including setting up securitisation vehicles) and regulatory aspects (including prospectus, transparency and market abuse related matters).

Her practice includes project finance, general banking matters (including credit and security taking), corporate reorganizations, capital markets and financing cross-border deals including different types of financing structures with a particular focus on securitisations. She also takes an active interest in charitable and community work both inside and outside the firm.

Work highlights
  • A Luxembourg management company: advising an American global investment company on the senior facility for the refinancing of the acquisition of a pan-European logistics property portfolio in France, the Netherlands, Finland, Ireland, Germany and Denmark.
  • Investment banks or investors in relation to the setting up of or issuances by Luxembourg securitisation vehicles (regulated and unregulated)
  • Bank of China Limited, Luxembourg Branch as issuer of the world’s largest green bond issuance, which was the first ever green bond issued by Bank of China and also the first ever green bond issued by a Chinese institution in Europe

Education and qualifications

Nazli holds an LLM/MSc in International Business Law and Management from HEC Paris and a LLB from the Bilkent University (Turkey)

She is registered with the Istanbul Bar (2011), the Paris Bar (2017) and the Luxembourg Bar (2021).

She speaks Turkish, English and French.
