Overview

Mirjam has specialised experience in domestic and international dispute resolution with a particular focus on collective redress, international private law, competition litigation and ESG disputes. She is responsible for the knowledge management of the German Dispute Resolution practice, in particular for Client Knowledge & Learning projects and monitoring current legal developments. Mirjam edits a number of Linklaters’ flagship resources including the cross-border guide on corporate criminal liabilityand co-heads the editorial board of Linklaters’ blog LinkingCollectiveRedress.

Professional experience

Mirjam has been practicing law since 2009, first in competition law at an international law firm and then in EU business law at a major German publishing house. She joined Linklaters in 2017 and was appointed Managing Associate (Knowledge) in 2019 and Senior Associate (Knowledge) in 2022.

Education and qualifications

Mirjam studied law at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. She also obtained a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from the University of Glasgow.

Her subsequent legal traineeship included working in Brussels for an international law firm and the EU Commission.

She speaks German and English fluently and has a basic knowledge of French and Spanish
