Linklaters advises Ardian on its investment in the proposed merger between Siaci Saint Honoré and the Burrus group

Linklaters is advising Ardian on its investment in the proposed merger between Siaci Saint Honoré, France's leading independent insurance broker, and the Burrus group, the majority shareholder of Diot and LSN, with a view to creating together the leading independent European insurance broker with international reach.

Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan is the lead institutional investor with a 30% stake in a consortium of institutional investors including Ardian, Bpifrance and Cathay Capital.

The new group resulting from this merger will strengthen its position in France and internationally on the market for large companies, SMEs and SMBs in personal insurance, international mobility, property and liability insurance, marine and transport insurance, credit insurance and reinsurance. It will be one of the top 10 global players in the sector, with revenues of nearly €700 million and nearly 5,000 employees in over 40 countries.

The completion of this transaction is subject to the usual regulatory approvals.
