Linklaters joins TV Data Initiative’s new “Expert Advisory Group”

Linklaters is pleased to announce that U.S. partner Ieuan Jolly has been selected to serve on the TV Data Initiative’s new Expert Advisory Group.

The advisory group will provide insights on practical steps that can be taken to support the growth and development of the advanced TV advertising market leveraging data-driven solutions while respecting and protecting consumer data and privacy.

The TV Data Initiative was launched in April 2021 by DISH Media, Blockgraph, Eyeota, MadHive, Magnite, TransUnion and Tru Optik, TVSquared and VideoAmp. The consortium aims to unlock the potential of the fast-growing data-driven TV ecosystem by working collaboratively across the industry with advertisers, agencies, MVPDs, programmers, and distributors.

The Expert Advisory Group, comprised of 23 high profile industry executives and data experts, will play a key role in supporting the Initiative by offering insights about the challenges and opportunities ahead for the advanced TV advertising market.

Linklaters is the sole law firm on the Advisory Group that includes experts from NBCU, Discovery, Roku, Comcast, Fox and others.
