Overview

Anna-Livia has specialised experience in advising clients in the context of national and international M&A transactions, joint ventures, restructurings as well as on matters of corporate law, including corporate governance issues and compliance.

Work highlights:

Anna-Livia has advised on many market-leading M&A deals. These include:

  • Vodafone: advising on (i) the strategic partnership with GIP and KKR regarding Vantage Towers as well as (ii) the contribution of its German fibre business to a joint venture with Altice Group.
  • Jean Goldschmidt International: advising as part of a consortium oin the acquisition of the zinc recycling business of the insolvent Harz-Metall GmbH (Recylex Group).
  • Masco und Hansgrohe: advising on the acquisition of a majority stake of Easy Sanitary Solutions B.V.
  • Acerinox: advising on the acquisition of nickel materials producer VDM Metals.
  • Silgan Holdings: advising on the acquisition of the closures and dispensing systems business of WestRock Group and on other corporate actions.
  • NORD/LB: advising on the complete acquisition of Bremer Landesbank.
  • WGZ BANK: advising on its merger with DZ BANK.
  • Deutsche Börse: advising on the acquisition of 360T Group.
  • Erste Abwicklungsanstalt: advising on the acquisition of Portigon Financial Services GmbH, on the sale of WestFonds Immobilien-Anlagegesellschaft to HCI Capital AG (now Ernst Russ AG) and on the sale of Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank to AAREAL Bank.

Professional experience

Anna-Livia works at Linklaters since 2014 and was appointed Managing Associate in 2018.

In 2015 she was on secondment at Deutsche Börse AG.

She is a member of Gesellschaftsrechtliche Vereinigung (VGR), the German Korean Law Association, the German Association of Female Lawyers and Working Moms Düsseldorf e.V.

Education and qualifications

Anna-Livia studied law at the University of Cologne and at the University of Seville, Spain. She holds a PhD from the University of Cologne.

She completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne, Germany, with stages at the German-Korean Chamber of Commerce in Seoul, South Korea, in the legal department of UBS Europe SE in Frankfurt, Germany, as well as at Linklaters in Düsseldorf and London.

She speaks German, English and Spanish.
