Overview
Filippo is a U.S. associate in the London high-yield team. Filippo advises issuers and initial purchasers in connection with high-yield offerings and liability management transactions, particularly by European issuers.
Work highlights
Filippo’s experience includes:
- Ontex Group: assisting Ontex in connection with its offering of €400 million senior notes and concurrent tender offer.
- Almaviva: advising Almaviva on its offering of €725 million senior secured notes in connection with the take-private offer for of US-listed Iteris, Inc.
- Tereos: advising Tereos in connection with multiple high-yield offerings, including its €300 million senior notes due 2030 and €300 million senior notes due 2031.
- Neopharmed Gentili: advising the initial purchasers in relation to Neopharmed Gentili’s debut issuance of €750 million senior secured fixed and floating rate notes and advising the investors in the tap issuance of additional €100 million senior secured fixed rate notes.
- Harbour Energy: representing a consortium of banks in connection with Wintershall Finance’s investment grade multi-tranche issuance of €1.6 billion senior notes due 2029 and 2032.
- Rino Mastrotto: advising the initial purchasers in relation to Rino Mastrotto’s debut issuance of €320 million senior secured notes.
- United Group: advising a consortium of banks in connection with the offering by United Group of four tranches of senior secured and PIK notes totalling over €1.7 billion.
Professional experience
Filippo joined Linklaters in 2023. Prior to joining Linklaters, Filippo worked in the Milan office of a leading U.S. firm, where he focused on corporate and financial regulatory matters.
Education and qualifications
Filippo holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School.
Filippo graduated in law, cum laude, from the University of Genoa, where he also obtained a Ph.D. in securities law, defending a dissertation on direct listings.
