Linklaters advises Skanska on the acquisition of Business Link


Linklaters has advised the development company Skanska on the purchase of the remaining stake of shares in the company sp. o.o. from the Academic Entrepreneurship Incubator (AIP) foundation which runs the largest network of coworking and private rental offices in Poland. Business Link manages 5 coworking spaces located in the Astoria office building in Warsaw and in buildings constructed by Skanska in Poznań (Maraton), Kraków (High5ive), Wrocław (Green2Day) and Prague (Visionary). Thus far, Skanska owned a 40% interest in Business Link. Following this year's acquisition, Skanska became the sole shareholder of Business Link.

The Linklaters Warsaw transaction team was led by Klaudia Królak, managing associate from the corporate practice and Michał Mieciński, counsel from the real estate practice. They were supported by Ewa Szmigielska, senior associate and Maciej Ficiński, junior associate from the corporate practice.

Additionally, Agnieszka Mencel, head of the TMT / IP practice, Monika Krzyszkowska-Dabrowska, head of the Employment Practice and Agnieszka Maj-Żuk, managing associate, advised on the transaction.
