Overview

Based in the firm’s Stockholm office, Elisabet advises corporates, financial institutions and private equity houses on cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures and business separations. She also counsels on regulatory issues, and has experience in outsourcing and licensing.

Elisabet’s extensive transactional experience spans across the technology, financial, healthcare, industrial, automotive, energy and infrastructure sectors. She has particular expertise in the technology and business services sector, and co-led the firm’s technology sector for five years.

Work highlights

Elisabet has led on many major corporate and PE transactions. Highlights of those that can be disclosed include advising:

  • Triton/Aleris on the carve-out and divestment of its radiology business to EQT Infrastructure and its portfolio companies Meine Radiologie and Blikk
  • EssilorLuxottica/Synoptik on the acquisition of optical business Smarteyes from investment company Mellby Gård and minority sellers
  • Freemantle/RTL on the acquisition of NENT studios unscripted production from NENT
  • Hutchison and Three Scandinavia on the EUR 10bn divestment of mobile masts business to Cellnex
  • Microsoft on its USD 2.5bn acquisition of game developer Mojang (Minecraft)
  • Panasonic on its acquisition of Swedish Systemair’s AC business.

Professional experience

Elisabet is a board member of SACC NY and BSCC.

Elisabet is an occasional speaker at internal and external conferences, including subjects such as negotiation techniques and risk management in M&A transactions.

Education and qualifications

Elisabet studied law at the University of Uppsala, and obtained post-graduate degrees from the University of Saarland in Germany and University of Strasbourg in France.

Elisabet served as a clerk and a junior judge in the Stockholm District Court in 1993.

She speaks Swedish, English, German and French.
