It’s not you, it’s me: the growing focus on individuals by antitrust regulators

In this session we will look at new areas of focus for global antitrust agencies including:

• HR practices, in particular no-poach and wage-fixing agreements; and
• Sanctions against individuals–increasingly seen by agencies as a more effective deterrent against antitrust infringements than large corporate fines.

We will also consider how these trends should be reflected in the design and implementation of corporate compliance mechanisms – especially in light of moves by authorities to credit effective compliance programmes.
