Covid-19 - France : Update on short-time work

This alert provides an overview of the recent guidance issued by the French Government for ex post inspections of short-time work schemes. According to the Minister of Labour, 50,000 inspections should be carried out before the end of summer 2020 to detect and punish fraudulent use of the scheme. Given the wide range of sanctions at stake, legal assistance in the event of a control is essential, especially to use the various appeals.
