Germany - FRQ - MaRisk Update – Implications on Outsourcing

While Germany has been rather consistent regarding its outsourcing regime over the last years, recent changes which are being discussed with the introduction of the FISG as well as with the proposed update to the MaRisk to (finally) implement the EBA Guidelines on outsourcing will have a significant impact to the German outsourcing regime. In parallel, BaFin started a consultation on their updated Supervisory Requirements for IT in Financial Institutions (BAIT).
