Swap Connect – A New Addition to the Connect Family

On Friday 28 April 2023, the final rules and regulations for Swap Connect were published by the People’s Bank of China and the participating financial market infrastructure (being the China Foreign Exchange Trade System & National Interbank Funding Center (CFETS), Shanghai Clearing House (SHCH) and OTC Clearing Hong Kong Limited (OTCC)). With these rules and regulations in place, the market can expect an official launch of Swap Connect with trading and clearing to begin imminently.
