The SFC concludes its consultation on the enhancements to the position limit regime

The SFC has recently published its latest conclusion paper on the position limit regime confirming several changes, including an expansion of the list of futures and options contracts which the SFC may authorise a person to hold in excess of the prescribed limit and clarifications on the application of the position limits and reporting requirements to funds. The changes are intended to take effect in December 2023.
