Altrad Investment Authority’s inaugural €1,250,000,000 international bond issuance: CMS Francis Lefebvre advises the banks, Linklaters advises Altrad
Altrad Investment Authority, a global leader in industrial services and the manufacture of specialised equipment for the construction and building markets, has successfully completed its inaugural international bond issuance (Reg S), placing a total amount of €1,250,000,000 with institutional investors.
The bonds, the proceeds of which will be used for the general corporate purposes of the Group, including for repayment of the Issuer’s bridge loan facility for an outstanding amount of €638,000,000, were issued in two tranches: the first, a four-year tranche with an annual coupon of 3.704% due 23 June 2029; the second, a seven-year tranche with an annual coupon of 4.429 % due 23 June 2032. The bonds are admitted to trading on the regulated market of Euronext Paris and are rated investment grade BBB – by S&P Global Ratings Europe Limited.
BNP PARIBAS, Crédit Agricole CIB, J.P. Morgan and Natixis acted as Global Coordinators. CIC Market Solutions, Commerzbank and Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking acted as Active Bookrunners.
